Located on Florida’s renowned West Coast, seven-mile long Anna Maria Island is situated south of Tampa Bay. Lovely Anna Maria Island is touched by three tropical bodies of water. The Gulf of Mexico on the western shore and Sarasota Bay, as well as Anna Maria Bay on the Eastern Shore. In addition, Anna Maria Island is northern most on a string of barrier islands that extend in a southerly direction, the only other set of keys in this latitude aside from the infamous Florida Keys.

Surprisingly, this quaint island is host to three cities. Anna Maria at the northern end, Holmes Beach in the center and Bradenton Beach at the southern tip. Each city is easily accessible by any of our three drawbridges entering Anna Maria Island. From the south through Sarasota, the Longboat Key drawbridge is a direct guide down Gulf of Mexico Drive from the mainland, two drawbridges lie off Anna Maria Island’s Eastern Shore, crossing Sarasota Bay and the Inter Coastal Waterway.

With its temperate year-round weather, Anna Maria Island has truly become "My Island in the Sun" not only to visitors, but year-round residents as well. All who visit, willingly surrendered their days to being entranced by warm lapping waters and white sugar soft sandy beaches.
